The Prometheus Cup debate competition is a platform started by Raffles Debate Academy (RDA) to help every debater to bring out his or personal best and to foster friendship. Anglo is very fortunate to be invited to share such experience not only with RDA but also with delegations from 11 countries round the world. It was incredible for Anglo debaters to meet up with top notch debaters from as far as Sweden, South Africa, USA and as near as our neighbors from Hong Kong.  Prometheus Cup not only helps to hone our debaters but also to “gave us a chance to prove our mettle.”  It was a wonderful tournament for everyone as all emerge as winners from this rigorous learning experience especially with given opportunities to debate    “first hand” with the Champion (Singapore)  and the runner up ( Australia)  of the World Schools debate Competitions for 2011.

Special mention goes to Jazlina Sutanto who won the 14th Best Speaker among the best in the world. Well done!!!
