There are many kinds of sports in our After School Programme (ASP). The objective of these school sports clubs is to provide a holistic education by teaching citizenship, sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, respect, and healthy lifestyle. Students in school teams will be training throughout the entire academic year. Students are welcome to take up additional sports if time allows.
Individual players are invited to join our basketball club. Our male and female teams are grouped according to age – Junior Boys (age 13 and below), Senior Boys (age 18 and below) and Senior Girls (age 18 and below). Fundamental skills are taught such as dribbling, shooting, passing and defense.
The school is developing a team that can compete with other international schools in the region.
The badminton club supports and assists students on technical, tactical and physical development for badminton. Badminton training is held in the gym after school. Badminton requires skill, tactics and physical stamina and agility.
Football Club is another after-school programme providing the development of individual skills, sportsmanship and team tactics. Full and half-field training and fun games are played throughout the year. The school has already formed soccer teams for junior and senior boys. The team has ongoing training to be ready for future challenges.
Students, who can swim, can join the Water Game and Swimming Club. The school offers students fun water games and swimming lessons with a 25m swimming pool available in school. The school has already formed the swimming team to represent the school and the members are in training with professional swimming coaches.
