This year at Anglo, we were lucky enough to celebrate Halloween on its official date October, 31st. The event was held during our morning classroom sessions, from 7:30 – 8:30
This year, the students were allowed to wear costumes for the entire day and it was great to see that a lot of the students and parents had made an effort in dressing up. Lower primary and upper primary were divided in order to allow enough space for the students to run around and enjoy the activities.
Each group of students spent half an hour on the field and half an hour in the gym. The students were allowed to join stations of their own choice.
The field had two main activities divided into 4 stations. The first one was ‘Beat the Ghoulie’ where students had to score a penalty against one of their teachers (the Ghoulie). The second activity was the ‘Broomstick Pumpkin Race’ where children had to roll a pumpkin (basketball) using broomsticks.
The gym offered three different activities set up in 9 stations. They were: Ghost Bowling, Monster Beanbag Toss and Witch’s Hat Ring Toss. Students who completed the stations successfully were awarded specially packaged snacks.
It seemed like everyone enjoyed themselves and I would like to thank the parents for their support in making this a great day!
