    Community Involvement Programme

The Community Involvement Programme (CIP) is designed to provide meaningful community service opportunities for students to enhance local communities’ wellbeing and livelihoods. The CIP allows students to apply theoretical knowledge from various school subjects to practical settings and real-life situations. It has a minimum number of hours that students must fulfil each year, increasing as they progress through higher grades.

The CIP is divided into various projects focused on different areas, such as ecological literacy, local governments and NGOs, youth-related activities and services, and disadvantaged school projects.

Each project offers unique opportunities for personal growth and skill acquisition, such as teamwork, empathy, communication, and organisation. Students in the CIP participate in projects that are tailored to their grade level and gradually increase in complexity and impact.

The CIP offers students the chance to develop their personal growth and skills while making a positive impact on the community. It fosters a sense of civic engagement and community commitment among students, encouraging them to take part in active volunteering, donation drives, and other community activities. The programme’s emphasis on practical application and real-world impact provides students with a meaningful and enriching learning experience that prepares them for active citizenship in the future.
