    Julie Sutanto

    CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

    Success is intentional, never accidental.

Meet Ms. Julie, the founder and visionary behind Anglo Singapore International School in 2003 with a mission to provide exceptional education for Singaporean children living in Thailand. As a mother of four children, she was driven by a personal necessity to find a school that would provide the best education for her children, preparing them for any international environment, while also meeting the rigorous academic demands of the Singaporean MOE.

From humble beginnings of only four students, the school has grown exponentially over the past 15 years, now serving over 1,500 students across two campuses in Bangkok and one in Korat. Ms Julie attributes the school’s success to the commitment of its teachers, the trust of its parents, and the support of its management team, all of whom share a vision to nurture and inspire a diverse learning community.

Ms Julie’s leadership is characterized by her belief that success is intentional and cannot be passive. She has fostered a transformative educational experience for students that goes beyond what a typical school can offer. Each student is carefully nurtured and supported, with their individual needs targeted for maximum growth and development.

Under Ms Julie’s leadership, Anglo Singapore International School has become a distinguished institution, with exemplary results in examinations and a record of securing admissions to prestigious universities. With a STEAM-B-focused and a technology-driven learning environment, the school prepares students to be articulate, confident, and independent individuals who are well-equipped to navigate the challenges of our rapidly changing world.

    Nicholas Kaye

    HEAD OF SCHOOLS

As Dylan Wiliam reminds us, teaching is a profession where improvement never ends, not because teachers aren’t good enough, but because children deserve the very best. When we put the learner at the centre, use evidence to guide us, and pursue meaning over performance, we create schools where growth is not just possible, it’s inevitable.

Mr. Kaye brings over 20 years of leadership experience in international education, having served as Principal in Russia, Malaysia, and Nigeria, and held teaching roles in the United Kingdom, Japan, Laos, and Turkey. His wide-ranging experiences give him a global perspective and a deep appreciation for the diverse learning needs of our students.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kaye has led school-wide improvement initiatives, overseen accreditation processes, mentored school leaders, and championed evidence-informed educational practices. His leadership is grounded in clarity, collaboration, and care—qualities that reflect the values we uphold at Anglo.

Mr. Kaye is passionate about student-centred learning built on clear values, mutual respect, and purposeful education. He believes schools thrive when relationships are strong, professional trust is nurtured, and every student is challenged and supported to achieve their best—academically,
    socially, and emotionally.

Mr. Kaye strongly believes that when schools and families work together, students benefit the most. He looks forward to working closely with students and families to build on the school’s strong foundations and ensure every child at Anglo benefits from a rich, values-based, and academically rigorous education.
