English as an Additional Language (EAL) Programme

Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme is designed to support both Primary and Secondary students through two progressive stages: Foundation and Intensive Language.The Foundation Stage focuses on building essential linguistic skills, including basic grammar, parts of speech, phonics, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.The Intensive Language Stage expands on this foundation, with a focus on mastering advanced syntactic structures, paragraph and essay composition, and higher-level reading comprehension skills to foster academic proficiency. This structured approach ensures that all students receive the targeted linguistic support they need to enhance their English proficiency. It prepares them effectively for our mainstream English programs, including Primary Mainstream English, Secondary English as a Second Language (ESL) and Secondary First Language English (FLE) courses, helping them succeed academically.
