Social & Emotional Counselling
At our school, we take a holistic approach to education, recognizing that the well-being of our students is essential to their overall success. To support this, we have established a dynamic Counseling Services department.
This department works in close partnership with students, parents, and teachers to foster a safe, nurturing environment conducive to personal growth and positive development. By addressing both academic and emotional needs, we ensure that students thrive not only in their studies but also in their social and emotional lives.

Health

At Anglo, we are dedicated to maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for our students. Our reputation as one of the leading international schools in Bangkok is not only due to our exceptional academic programme, but also to our unwavering commitment to student well-being.
We place a strong emphasis on ensuring the health and safety of our students, as evidenced by our prestigious “Health and Safety School” award from the Thai government’s Ministry of Labour. Our efforts in this regard are reflected in the range of services we offer, with particular attention paid to the implementation of the latest infection control measures. We have established a systematic protocol for preventing, controlling, and investigating infectious diseases in the event of an outbreak.
Our registered nurses are always available on-site with the necessary supplies and equipment to provide medical care to students in our infirmary. While most routine or minor health concerns can be treated on-site, we refer students with more serious medical issues to the nearest hospital or to one of our affiliated hospitals. Our strong partnership with these hospitals allows us to provide effective referrals, follow-up appointments, ambulance services for sports events, health education talks, yearly vaccinations, and other healthcare services.
At Anglo, we offer a wide range of health services, including immediate emergency intervention, direct healthcare for students and staff, ongoing health assessments, annual dental check-ups, physical assessments, and visual screenings by external physicians and specialists. We also prioritise health promotion and hygiene awareness to help our students develop healthy habits.
We take extra care to inform teachers and staff about student allergies to prevent accidental exposure to allergens that could be life-threatening or cause anaphylactic reactions. This includes the use of a student allergy list and colour-coded food allergy wristbands for students diagnosed with mild to severe food allergies.
As a parent, we encourage you to speak directly with one of our nurses about any specific health needs or concerns your child may have. We assure you that all information will be kept confidential and that the nurse will share information with teachers on a need-to-know basis only. We also use phone calls, letters, and report forms to keep parents informed of their child’s health status and to work with them to address their child’s growth and development.
At Anglo, we believe that a healthy student is a happy student, and we are committed to providing the resources and support necessary to ensure that our students thrive both academically and personally.

Safeguarding
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students is of paramount importance. To achieve this, we have established a dedicated safeguarding team that is responsible for safeguarding all children from harm and responding promptly and appropriately to any concerns that arise.
The team is composed of experienced professionals, led by our Designated Safeguarding Lead, who have been trained to detect and respond to any indications of abuse or neglect. To maintain the highest level of protection, we have rigorous safeguarding procedures in place, which are frequently reviewed and revised to remain compliant with current guidance, legislation and privacy concerns.
We want parents and carers to be reassured that their children are in safe hands at our school and that we prioritise our students’ welfare.
