APMOPS 2023

The Asia Pacific Mathematical Olympiad for Primary Schools (APMOPS), organized by Hwa Chong Institution, is an annual event that aims to generate greater interest in Mathematics among pupils in primary schools and sharpen their problem-solving skills.

Anglo Singapore International School will be the official hosting centre in Bangkok, Thailand. Private candidates from other schools (all Primary 6 students or equivalent) are invited to participate in the competition.

Details are as follows:
Date: Saturday, 22 April 2023
Time: 09:00 – 11:00 AM (must be in school 15-20 minutes before start)

CAMPUS 64 – Campus 64 students and Private candidates
CAMPUS 31 – Campus 31 students
CAMPUS KORAT –Campus Korat students

The competition is ONLINE based so please bring your own laptop or tablet on the day. Please take note that calculators and mathematical instruments are NOT ALLOWED. Competition duration is 2 hours. Login details will be provided on the day of the competition.

SASMO 2023

SASMO is a math olympiad contest that stretches not only the brightest students but is aimed at instilling confidence for all students.

The contest is designed in a way to make every student love Math again. SASMO contest fits nicely into the school curriculum with a high focus on non routine problem sums – preparing for SASMO contest helps students prepare for the PSLE and O-Level exams.

This competition is open for all ANGLO students from Primary 3 – Junior College 2. Details are as follows:

Date: Wednesday, 19 April 2023
Time: 03:30 – 05:00 PM (must be in the venue 15-20 minutes before start)

The competition is PAPER based so please bring your own calculator and stationeries (pens, pencils, etc). Competition duration is 90 minutes. Please be ensured that you are in the venue at least 15-20 minutes before the competition.
