    Admissions Procedure

The enrolment procedure at Anglo may differ depending on individual circumstances, but it typically follows a general process:

    Trial Period

A trial period, typically lasting 1 or 3 days, is an important part of the admissions process when considering a potential new school for your child. It provides an opportunity for your child to experience the school environment firsthand and get a feel for the curriculum and teaching methods.

During the trial period, your child will firstly complete placement testing, then attend regular lessons alongside current students allowing them to observe and participate in the classroom. They will also have a chance to interact with teachers and other students, giving them a sense of the school’s community and culture.

The trial period is beneficial for both the school and your child. It allows us to assess your child’s academic potential and determine whether the curriculum and teaching methods are suitable for your child’s learning style. It also provides your child with the chance to determine if Anglo is the right fit for them.

    Trial Review Meeting

Following the trial period, you and your child will have the opportunity to meet with either the Pastoral Care teacher or the Principal (as appropriate) to address any concerns or questions and assess the suitability of the school. At this point, the school will determine the appropriate placement level, as well as any additional support or requirements for admission. If all parties are in agreement that the school is a good fit, you can proceed with the enrolment process.

    Enrolment

The student can apply for enrolment based on the school’s determination of their placement and level, as discussed and agreed at the end of the trial period.

Tuition and fees are calculated and scheduled accordingly. Students and parents are required to provide several documents, which should be prepared in advance and submitted to the Admissions Department. Please note that this list is subject to change, and for specific concerns, it is recommended to discuss with the Admissions Department when beginning the enrolment process.
